I hope you’re doing okay out there after a turbulent start to 2026, where the news cycle and the state of the world have taken a hole lot of attention. In times like these, I personally need to be able to immerse myself in my music and my work. Not to ignore what’s happening around us, but to take a break from it, and to stay connected to a playful, creative, optimistic, and constructive way of being.

When I zoom in on the music, I feel very optimistic about 2026 and incredibly excited. In 2025, my small one person company received a major gift from the Danish Arts Foundation in the form of one of their large annual working grants.

Beyond being a hugely uplifting recognition, it’s also a unique opportunity to dive deeper into creative work than my finances would normally allow. I’ve decided to share this process by creating a series of video stories about the projects and the music I’ll be working on. At the moment, I’m editing a video story about a concert series I did in France with a symphony orchestra back in November/December 2025.

I am also looking forward to tell the story about a collaboration in Brussels with three Belgian orchestras and a series of concerts in the great Bozar concert Hall.

Starting this Monday (2/2), the first of five videos with my trio Body Rhythm Factory will be released. The remaining four videos will be released at roughly four-week intervals throughout the winter and spring.
